Help Fundraise so Best Day Can Create More Smiles in 2012
We're proud to say that our program makes a difference to all who volunteer or participate. And it's only possible through donations and sponsorships from the community. As we seek to expand and serve more children in 2012, we need your assistance to meet or surpass our 2011 Holiday fundraising goal of $15,000.
Did you know more than 50% of computer users make online donations during the holidays? That's over half of your friends, right! How many do you think would support your cause?
We're a 501(c)(3) non-profit so each donation is tax-deductible. As we're volunteer-based, that money helps children with special needs.
Easiest Way to Help
Use Crowdrise to help connect with your friends online. It's secure and ties into things like Twitter and Facebook - and helps you email friends too. To get started:
- Click the Join the Team button on the right of Help Best Day Celebrate 2011 project in Crowdrise to create an account.
- Create your custom page. While you're more than welcome to grab anything off our website, we suggest you use your own words to make it personal. Write about your experience at Best Day. Your friends will want to know why this is important to you.
- Send an email to your friends and family, post on Facebook, Tweet it, and so on.
- Repeat #3 at least 3 times. People often forgot to donate until you ping them again!
That's it! Those who raise $250 or more will get a Best Day Foundation hoodie! And if 60 people raise $250 we've not only met our goal - but a bunch of folks will be walking around in cool BDF hoodies ;-)

Other Ways to Help
If you're not into that - there are other ways you can help too:
- Make a donation if you don't have time to raise funds. You can make a one time donation or give a little each month. Think of it as a subscription to smiles ;-)
- Shop at your favorite online stores like Amazon, Home Depot, and such through iGive. It varies by each of the 700+ stores they partner with, but in addition to coupons for further savings, a portion of each purchase goes to Best Day.
