Fundraise for Best Day and Help Create More Smiles in 2010
We're proud to say that our program makes a difference. It's only possible through donations and sponsorships from the community. As we seek to expand and serve more kids in 2010, we need your assistance to meet or surpass our 2009 Holiday fundraising goal of $25,000 by reaching out into your community. That's only 100 people raising $250!
Did you know more than 50% of online users make online donations during the holidays? That's over half of your friends! How many do you think would support your cause?
A 501(c)(3) non-profit with no paid staff, 100% of all funds go towards helping kids with special needs. And each donation is tax-deductible.
Easiest Way to Help
Our online tool from Firstgiving is the fastest and easiest way to fundraise. When we tested it, one Best Day fundraiser said "thanks for making it so easy for me." It took her just a few minutes to create her own custom page - and it even helped her send out an email to her friends and family. She said that she'd never even done anything like that before. She raised $950 - with $200 from her work's employee matching program!
To get started:
- Go to Best Day's Firstgiving page.
- Click the orange Get Started button and then the 2009 Holiday Fundraising Drive link.
- Create and account and your custom page.
- Send an email to your friends and family.
That's it! Watch a short video to see how easy it is. Individuals that donate $100 more or raise $250 or more will get a custom 2010 Best Day Foundation Membership shirt. Artist Samuel Mott is working on it - and it's going to be beautiful!

Other Ways to Help
If you're not into that - there are other ways you can help too:
- Make a donation if you don't have time to raise funds. You can make a one time donation or give a little each month. Think of it as a subscription to smiles ;-)
- Load up on Avon products for the holidays. Great for gifts, 30% of each order also goes to Best Day!
- Shop at your favorite online stores like Amazon, Home Depot, and such through iGive. It varies by each of the 700+ stores they partner with, but in addition to coupons for further savings, a portion of each purchase goes to Best Day.
Facebook Widget
Another thing you can do to help raise funds is add our Sprout Widget below to your Facebook or other social media site by clicking the Share button. It'll help share the word, and friends can make a secure donation through it if they wish.
